Have you got some sort of drone?
How high is the whale?
Will the main toboggan run be covered for the weekend?
So many questions
IMO LM could have used a second whale more than the new fan guns, they just don't seem to get the right conditions often enough to use them.
They did a great job last winter with the fan guns, carrotdude.
The toboggan run was fully covered the whole winter.
After looking through the Victorian Cams i see the resorts have had a bit of a go at some stage overnight at making snow. What has caught my eye this morning is that on the Lake Mountain Village cam they seem to be still making snow when the other resorts are not. How can that be?
Because Lake Mountain has some low capacity all weather snow making capability that the other resorts don't have.
already posted in the other thread, but so has the question
lake mountain don't aim to make the same quality of snow as the ski resorts. The granita they make can be made at higher temperatures. great for keeping the toboggan run open.
Kids should receive a discount for any play activities on artificial snow......I would hope
they are not charging a cent at moment....
When should they start charging though? Kids playing on man made snow is increasingly what Lake Mountain is all about.
a discount or no fee charge for artificial snow, I wonder what all of those resort that do produce artificial snow for the general public to ski and play on would make of ubiquitious Steve's comments
If they were Kiwis they would probably think he was taking the puss.
US is trolling. He knows full well that it costs megabucks to make artificial snow, whereas natural snow is free.
And US, there is no charge at LM for snowplay of any sort. Pay your car entry fee, and nearly all activities are free.
What is the current charge for car entry to Lake Mt.
Hope this upcoming frontal system dumps some up at Lake Mt..
Looks like a quad with a GoPro
Actually, the other way around would make more sense. Natural snow is free and costs the resort zilch, other than grooming. Artificial snow costs megabucks, and if they didn't spend the money to make it, no one would go without the natural stuff as well.
