Social distancing and limiting lift tickets sales

Hi, I noticed that Hotham is limiting lift ticket sales due to Social distancing requirements.
Based on the Hotham website lift tickets are sold out until 1st July (so the next 4 days).
I also know they are no longer selling season passes..

If this is for social distancing do epic pass holders need to nominate dates they intend to ski?

Is there a booking form or something we are supposed to be completing?..

Epic passes don't require reserving days.

I'm assuming they will allow more passes to be purchased as more terrain opens up. Hopefully next week - 2nd week of Vic School Hols is traditionally busy!

Going back up on weekend of 9th to 11th.
Some of us have EPIC passes and some don't.
It's a bit of a roll of the dice asking pre purchasing lift passes 11 days in advance given the limited terrain open, and with everything else going on.................

It also seems the Beginner Lift and Lesson package has disappeared from the Hotham Store. Interestingly, I purchased this pass last weekend..............

Frustrating as it was a great way to introduce people to skiing! How many first timers are going to ride any other lift than Summit/Big D on their first day.
