Anyone who might be interested in installing PV Solar on their properties, should contact the MBRA. As they are currently recording interest with the aim to install towards the end of the year.

The MBRA has taken kerbside assessment of all Buller properties and can advise on suitability. The MBRA can also provide over 4 years of data on the 4kW test system at Buller.

Already on it. I reckon our roof would be well oriented.

Not sure how you split up the benefits between 12 flats, maybe you need to make sure there’s a surplus over the course of the year which just goes in to the body corporate.

Coincidentally, I was looking at this question a couple of weeks ago. This article canvasses some options.

Thanks, yeah I think it could be a little tricky due to varying usage levels of the apartments, but also could be worth it as our block is only electrically heated which means If year-round generation could offset winter usage then the payback could be quite fast.

If the system size is likely to be over 30kW, your first lines of enquiry should be to the distribution network operator (Ausnet Services).
There is a good chance they will export limit you to 0kW back into the grid.
