    Hi!

Trapdoor's bookings are now OPEN for Summer 2006/2007 at Mt. Hotham.

If you are interested in staying above the snowline in a prime position at Hotham, in a warm, comfortable and quiet environment, why not simply submit a no obligation booking request form? Our advanced website ( www.trapdoor.com.au ) contains ALL the information you will need to help you make your booking including a virtual photographic tour of the lodge.

For just $25 per person per night, visitors can stay in a comfortable lodge environment, perfect for families. Children under 15 are half price and under 5's are free. You will soon see why we are so popular.

Very family friendly, with online booking, and online payment via credit card makes booking incredibly easy!

Trapdoor Ski Club is an ideal place to base your summer alpine get away, even as a base for hiking. Trapdoor is located on the Great Alpine Road, with very easy access. You can drive to the door, with “Frosty’s drop†ski run, literally across the road to start your summer walks. The supermarket is just 200m away, as is the bar and local restaurant (it is open over summer!). We also stock a LARGE variety non-perishable food, for free use of all guests during their stay.

Visit our advanced website for a virtual tour of the lodge, make a booking, other rates, location, photos and much more!

Come and join the gang at Trapdoor this summer, and you will understand why we are so popular over winter AND summer!

All ski towns have a huge over supply of accomodation in summer. Even though some places just close down for 8 months, there is cut-throat competion for customers among those that remain open. It's a buyers market. [IMG]

Okay, Thredbo, Falls Creek and to a lesser extent Dinner Plain are all year resort towns. Cruel people would say Buller, Perisher, Hotham and the smaller resorts have tumbleweeds rolling down the steets in summer.

But even at Thredbo and Falls, anyone with a bit of nous can negotiate a very attractive price if they shop around [IMG]

The cruel people would be correct, but some people like it that way. The Pub is open, and there is pleanty of hiking, mountainbike riding, fishing etc to be done.

Heaps of good mountain biking and excellent walks.

Just a bit of a ghost town. Hopefully that will improve over the years with more awareness.

Northern Hemp mountains the summer is peak period and the winters is their quieter period. Go figure.
