For me and MrsH it three or four days, maybe one or two more, during the two weeks Jan 14th - 27th, either at the start or end depending on which direction we do our circuit (i.e. Sun Peaks first then south to WA maybe Bend OR if we have time, or that area first and then north finishing up at SP as last stop) and we'll decide that not long before we leave for Seattle.

Other threads run without a need for editing permissions, I, or whoever else wishes to, can post an updated attendees list at any time. Page header will appear whenever I, or anyone else, thinks about it too, so that should update the attendees list periodically.

Thanks Crystal, pretty sure we will be ok, as I said, no other threads for other places manage ok (and so has this one for years), so we should be fine.

I'll admit to not doing much! SP stoke is alive and well though, wish I was there right now with a snow mobile!

Snoiw down to 1100 m this past few days. Meanwhile, down at valley level, 22 C and sunny, we actually need some rain! Early runoff + dry spring = lots of bushfires

Golf starts today on the front 9! No compacted snow on the course (no ski runs) obviously helps it melt quicker.....and a stupid warm season!

It's been snowing up higher recently though. Has been new snow visible up near treeline a couple times in the past two weeks in my area. The forestry guys are frustrated like crazy, first they got shut down a month earlier than usual because it was so warm. Of course that should be offset by early snowmelt and back to work earlier, but all the snow since mid March has delayed things a lot. Tree planters were out a couple of weeks before normal in the low and mid elevations but they have been snowed out a few times recently too. The log stocks at the mills are getting uneasily low and there will almost certainly be some closures in early summer due to fire danger. The bean counters must be going crazy: prices are high, the US market is hungry for building timber and the exchange rate means big returns for Canadian producers. Yet they are struggling to keep the mills fed until this odd weather patterns sorts itself out.

It would be a frustrating game, but not as frustrating as the same game in Oz. Don't see too many people chaining themselves to trees over there!
