I'm not looking forward to the ride home.
Sweat it out bro, it's good for you.
Made it to 39.7C out here. Can only ponder how it'll affect the train network getting home
It will be ok while I keep moving. I'll be cooking at the lights though.

Moorabbin Airport has just recorded its hottest March day on record: 40.8°C.
Which is the highest max in the entire Melbourne metro area.
Normally Avalon wins easily, but this is no normal day. Avalon only made it to 33 with the breeze.
March 1940 had slightly hotter temps in CBD and Essendon airport.
all the CO2 those engines produce
Forecast low for Melbourne tonight is 26
Cold shower, fan on, no worries
Top of 42.3 in my front paddock at 4.30pm , now its cooled a tad to 40.2. I hope some of that rain comes this far , we really need it. However it looks like the heat might back off , at least for a few days , by middle of next week.
Never good to see the word 'oppressive' used in a weather forecast.
Tomorrow, Mt Buller. Forecast max 26
This hot spell has me a bit worried though , I am either going mad or I have acclimatized to it ( don't know which) but last night around 8pm the temp fell to 38 and I actually said it felt pleasant. The wifey has me booked in for a couch appointment tomorrow
At least the humidity has dropped from its dizzying highs this morning, tonight will be less than impressive to sleep in.
got to almost 41 at our place. 36 now and 16% humidity.
much as i hate the heat, i hate humidity more.
Lovely night for a swim in the bay atleast, one of the only benefits of this horrible weather.
I feel like we are probably one of the better places to be at the moment (Dubbo that is). Over the past 19 days our maximum have ranged from 33.9 to 39.1, but have only really got over 36 a couple of times. So not really any extreme temperatures, just consistently warm ones. But we are only reaching maximums for a few hours in the afternoon so its pretty damn nice for 18hours of the day.
No idea, didn't take my water temperature reading device with me.
I could have a look at the BOM or something but I'm lazy.
Warm without being bath like.
Lets go with refreshing.
Was down at the bay a few hours ago. Was absolutely fantastic. Refreshing is the word.
20-22 depending where you are.
bugger, Perth updated forecast for next 7 days is 36, 28, 33, 33, 35, 38, 36
Toasty 29 overnight.

Red sky at dawn......
Noticed that. Flew into Avalon yesterday at 3 and thought, that's not too bad.
Got home to bonbeach and out of the car and wondered where the extra ten degrees came from!
This weather is more summer than I recall last summer....

A few big drops of rain as I got into work here in Melbourne's far east.
Sky looks like it wants to give up its goods.
Hottest Melb ( March ) night on record.
(Get it right !)
Hottest March night on record.
Cycling in was damp. Either I was sweating like a pig, or getting big fat rain drops which alternated every few km. It was hard to tell the difference TBH.
agonizing was a good choice for the thread title.....Bears are wondering how long this weather will keep up......
and the Blue/Green Algae problem along the Murray from Hume Dam to Swan Hill is a real bummer.......
thought it was a bit hot as I staggered out in to the carport at 7am!!!!
Tourist industry there are not happy at all. Hopefully things improve before Easter.
Still glad I'm enjoying autumn in Perth.
