Sinclairs hole is great. Good in early summer when the water in the Ovens is still a bit cold

Should be worth the drive to Jindy and the CP turning circle. No fun when it's hot and humid at 1000 metres. Might as well stay at sea level. The perfect WE to visit the mountains before Easter.

The cold front on Friday is still looking OK. It should blow out a bit of the hot air that's still lingering.

Might even be something reasonable around Easter too.

This morning in Thredbo it is misty rain with the fog level earlier at the cat shed. It is now at Kareela. Still warm but at least it looks a little like autumn!

Myrtleford had a few big cells roll through on Friday night, it was bucketing down at times and continued for some time Sat morning. We hitched a lift to Beechworth (which looked like it missed the rain completely) and then cycled back to Myrtleford...can't remember the last time I exercised in those temps and humidity levels. Sweat levels were insane

I was up in the NE on Sunday. She was hot in Bright (34C), but thankfully the humidity had departed. Drove up to Tawonga Gap and the clouds were building over Bogong and the ranges, and I ended up going up to Buffalo for the latter part of the arvo.
Was nice and pleasant and around 21C up on the plateau, with barely a breath of wind until I got up to The Horn.

By the time I made it down to Glenrowan by 8pm and I stepped out of the car, it was bloody warm again around 30C. However, the southerly had kicked in by Seymour, which was nice and comfortable and only high teens by 9:15. Yesterday was only mid 20's in Seymour and the southerly was quite strong.

Yep, looks like we are going to cop a nice blast.
Looking forward to see what can develop on the frontline.
Potential for some really decent storms on the change tomorrow arvo.
Going to get pretty blowy also.

Then Friday will be the first decent southerly blast for the year. :woohoo:

then weekend is returning to fine sunny weather which is a bonus...

BOM....5 to 15mm rain forecast for Wangaratta on Friday 80% probability....

so fire season danger is decreasing now.....ground moisture increasing in forest areas...;)

No , wasn't thinking about that at all.
Was thinking purely on a storm front perspective.
We can always do with the rain for the dams & on the land.
