Ouch, that's got to hurt.

We can rebuild it, we have the technology, we have the capability to build the worlds first bionic ski field. Perisher will be that field. Better than it was before. Better, stronger, faster.

Well Perisher doesn't have the technology and not the world's first ... Buller, Baw Baw, and Lake Mountain do!
Check out those piles - still growing in the rain

Meanwhile it's snowing now at Buller

Except the DA approval is going to take most of the six million dollars these days. But (and no critique applied) Tora Bright does resemble the Bionic Woman (from the 70s).

Northern Beaches, Sydney,
The problem is GFS thinks something will happen 4-5 days later instead:

It’s cool but not reliable.
Have something following up on the 10th as well. Just watchng patiently and watching the trend. Has been there a few days now, but 384 hours out is a way long shot. If it is still there on the weekend, then I might start to get excited....

Yeah there seems like there could be something during that week, but need to see more modelling to be more conclusive.

Northern Beaches, Sydney,
Strong strat/tropo coupling (dashed line), complete with pinching in the upper trop.
Big potential for the to descend to 500mb for good driving influence IMO.

Just needs AAO support as that's questionable ATM, LR IMO.

Doesn't look all that bad. seems like its gonna take a climb, but remain close 0.
I know we want it to be negative, the more the better, but how much of an impact does a weak positive have?

Neutral Positive is fine (we saw our snow system last week in this territory).

But generally, it's the difference between the ridged clipper (last week) and cold outbreak. It puts winter systems in the drivers seat.

Moonbah..... minus 2, light frost and no wind after copping sustained powerful winds with that last system. No real signs of snow in the distance where the clouds are decaying (come winter there’s plenty) so last nights snow probably restricted to the higher parts of the range. Perisher looks a bit better this morning after that late afternoon snowfall.
