Looks nice this morning.Clean as. Autumn at it's best (minus a foot or 2).
3 foot at golfy with maybe half a doz in the water, judged on my drive past.
Be lucky if the boys last the day on-site I have the feeling....
Sucks to be the captain of the ship , tho saving my awol for the anticipated pow days on the hill.
Might go have a look this arvo if the NE stays away.

    Another lacklustre session this morning

There were a couple of stray leftover sets from yesterday's S pulse but very, very inconsistent and not much in between but to be fair it was expected.....

About the highlight of my surf was the warm water & seeing a good sized stingray cruising around underneath and a decent school of what looked like Trevally

Yep just need to get Sunday out of the way then the tap looks like it's going to get turned on in a BIG way

    - North Coast NSW / QLD will get Cylcone swell lovin' from Tuesday onwards

    - Mid to South Coast NSW will get big S swell on Monday then some tail end cyclone swell lovin' mid to late in the week

Looks like plenty of power to come with 14-15 second periods coming up on the WAMs

You know what that means crew - Reef & point breaks if you want waves. Beachies will be straight handers

I hate G-Frog-S with a passion but this sure looks pretty:

How often do you get a Tasman low & a strong cyclone brewing at the same time? Would have to be a very rare occurrence....

Flat as this morning at Palm Beach. I still surfed though - a couple of the guys went home without getting wet but those of us that paddled out had a very nice grovel. Warm water, glassy for most of it (then a brief light northerly then glassy again then a light SE wind got established) just really tiny. I didn't surf yesterday so I don't know what I missed then.

Anyway it looked like this before and after my paddle respectively (I surfed on a bank just off-camera to the right of these photos, some friends surfed the bank in the foreground):

Water was warm, surf was small. Great for teaching GF at north end of Molly yesterday arvo. This morning climbed Pigeon House instead.

Lacklustre swell filling into Bondi this morning. As I suspected earlier in the week, the well-overcooked forecast (5-6 foot) is actually more like 3-4 foot this morning. Had some wobble and fat. Below average IMO.

A bit disappointing, but looks like the direction has cost Sydney.

The Port Botany buoy is around 2.3m @ 13s, but the Sydney buoy, 10km offshore from Long Reef is showing much more size around 3m @ 13s. Not getting in at all.

Heard a certain offshore bommie down south was 8-10ft though which is expected.

Pretty sure I know which "Offshore bommie" you're talking about their Craig but we won't mention any names for fear of life threatening injuries :D

Fairly certain it's a little south from @nfip but if you jump on YT you'll find a few vids of it. I was actually looking at a couple of clips yesterday funnily enough!

Yes the direction definately has that smell about it.
Most the best of's would have lit up yesterday.
Still pretty solid here this morning.
Up a bit on yesterday I feel but haven't had a proper look at it yet.
Just general quick obs of the Bommies and points.

Drive past only into town just then again looked to be to much S and not getting in there but Golfy looks OK.
Sounds like it was pretty solid incoming tide yesterday arvo.

Have been missing all this. My sand bank back slam on Easter Sunday has been diagnosed as three fractures in my spine, gnarly! Been spinning out a bit but have come to termis with it now. Out for six weeks.

    Enjoy the swell!

Heavy, however thank your god your not in a wheel chair longterm.
10 years ago I was close to loosing an eye to carcinoma cancer......freaked me out.
I'm a fair skinned dude that spent too many hours in the sun/water.
Still have pterygium on both eyes.
Thanks to a bunch of legends in Brisbane I still have both eyes working well, apart from Friday nights!!!!LOL

@PiniPowPow ouch.... and get well..... for fractures I guess you just need to let them heal. As @nfip will recall, I ripped my hamstring tendons off the pelvis a few years ago at a spot not far from his place....... surgically reattached and a six month intensive rehab and the only thing that didn't recover was my surfing...... loosing the beach shack probably didn't help either :(.

@PiniPowPow not good, I'm guessing more so with the little one than surfing, you know I know back pain, look after it and take care.
