Not sure if this has been posted, or how it came to be in my FB feed, or anyone here responsible but it’s lovely. Think $35? Really good print on quality paper, will look nice framed. Just like my first Tolkien book.

Hey all, if you're a fan of the Jetboil stoves, as I am, you might be interested in this little knock off available at Kmart:
    https://www.kmart.com.au/product/ultra-jet-butane-hiking-stove/3121802

Haven't used yet but i intend to over the weekend on a hike (somewhere within my 25k limit).
I assume Jetboil aren't yet aware of the Antipodean facsimile. As for Kmart..... actually they may not even know of it and just got it from a trade show.
    Anyhoo.

The line down Lee looked ok. Some tracks on it. Now a case of the upcoming weather event and what’s left (post) I suppose.

I'd be eyeing off Lee if there was a reset/freeze, but I think that might be tools down for the year (for me at least).
Will be a good flush out of the Snowy this weekend.

I sometimes watch a video of someone terrain following in a wing suit. Reckon I might make myself a suit up out of several snow jackets from ALDI, and have a crack!

    And blame SM.

Also ignores that going BC is hard work and the majority of people don't have the cajones to stick with it. The gratification quotient isn't high enough.

Copy probably written earlier in anticipation of some BC drama - they had the copy ready for when a BC disaster hit.

The disaster never came, it’s the end of the season. Footy over, gap in the newspaper - chuck it in....

Looking out from the CP boardwalk yesterday....not great vis.

Had a look at Guthrie’s as well. Might be a patch up top but.....not great visibility today either.

This day last year - same spot.

The top pic was taken between Mt Kelly and Mt Scabby and obviously on the border. It was probably just up from Scabby tarn from memory.

I'm in adventure planning mode with no OS travel on the radar, will get up to Jindy at some stage when allowed and stay with a friend. Just wondering if anyone had ridden an MTB (or an eMTB) through the Jagungal wilderness from Round Mountain to the power station.

    I've put a route in Strava: https://www.strava.com/routes/2751091746701709666

The numbers (distance/vert) don't scare me, should be able to do that amount of distance/vertical on a charge, but that depends of course on just how rough the surfaces etc are. Doable? Or should I keep dreaming? Also thinking Pilot Wilderness things.
