Nice thunderstorm came through Melbourne metro area around 3am.

Swagged it Friday night at up top, however made the smart choice of a Tawonga cabin last night. Was actually quite a nice day at Falls after 11am. A fun camping and MTB weekend.

The down side of that is the heat for the Sth states the way this high is looking to position itself.

The upper level jet looks to knife edge the instability through Vic, SA & into WA.
Thoughts for gong Saturday?
There's a sniff of convection into the South Coast progged but I reckon the models will drop it by the end of the week.
Saturday should be a ripper of a day, down your way IMO.
Sunday might be another story but again possibly further South.
Looks funky and potentialy dynamic mid to upper.
