The only two bellmouth or morning glory spillways in Oz are at Geehi and Chaffey Dams. https://www.exploroz.com/places/73815/nsw+island-bend-pondage?s=island bend

Rocky Valley at Falls has a bellmouth:

Beat me to it, tomorrow should be interesting
Best to check here after the update for Sept 5th-

Lake Jindabyne CURRENT LEVEL 76.19% AS OF 04 SEP 2021.

A 1% rise equates to 25 cm at these levels with 76% being at 905.5 m. Someone find the staff gauge at the dam and check and post level pls. Still 14% or 100GL of airspace to go before it's full at 911.35 m. Skifrees Guthega pix show how much is flowing down Snowy and into Lake Jindabyne. Is it 50 or 70 cumecs? Thredbo River will be similar. Either way it's only 1/3 to 1/2 the 2012 flood and this rain event is over judging by the radar.

Level on 5th Sept is 76.62% so up by 2.43% in 24 hours with more to come. So it's a 60 cm rise which would be both quite noticeable and respectable. Should crack 80% which is 906.56 m from my old paper table. The lake will then hold 552 GL - an old Syd Harbs worth.

Missed out on seeing the Island Bend dam overflowing by a couple of hrs. Spoke to a Snowy Hydro worker who said they opened the gates fully to release debris on the wall and dropped the level 4m.
Gungarlin weir and river.

The answer today was no to everything. So my uni student who escaped from Sydney just before you needed a permit went in today because he was finally out of the 2 week home quarantine. He has a car. So same change of address for car and licenses. Was told find some other to prove where he now lives. A bank statement is probably the only thing he has.

Yeah infringement notices, an issue if you get one.

Hardly surprising, given there had been 3x sewage detections. I wonder if it is in the community or correctional facility? I wondered about that, as there have been so many in Sydney in the correctional facilities

Not sure. I'll ask someone who knows.

This is how its listed on the website.
"seven are in correctional settings"
Under the Council post someone has said: "Theres no information where this person has been except for the Mobile servo"

So who knows, except that there is a case.

Edit: and now that comment has been modified.

Southern NSW has seen an increase in cases as well, with three cases in the Queanbeyan area, and two cases in Goulburn. ----------- (thats 5 of (how many were in Southern??)
5 and a further 2 (including cooma) were reported overnight.

Maybe.
Might wake some people up.
Its been bubbling along for over a week, and other postive sewrage detection in the area...

Its not looking good.

The lack of masks in places like ESS and the market... and people socialising in woolies.... With noses hanging out (for those that wear them)

The australian of the year (or some award winning) rubbish collector who regularly posts on FB noticeboards of all the awesome rubbish collecting her and her helpers do with NO MASKS, and virtually no social distancing.

Its a Joke.

I don't quite perceive the same as you in Jindy, which to me is pretty decent, including shops largely closed except click and collect.

But Cooma on the other hand does not seem to be as diligent. Shops open for browsing people everywhere? (On Saturday at least)

It would be interesting to know a bit more about this person though? Kinda weird exposure locations? ie: not including a grocery store?

I love the micro analysis of a community noticeboard.
Same thing was happening here in Wollongong a month or so ago. "they" want to know "who" this person is that "brought" Covid into the community.
After all, we have no cases of covid here, so we can't get a case of covid.

The same small minded folk that probably spent the last month complaining that they were locked down but covid was hundreds of kilometers away.

I'm sure the good folks of Dubbo were similar.

Watching the exposure sites in Dubbo. Is there a business that hasn't been pinged?

My Dad not been to woolies since lockdown started. Only one person per household is allowed to shop.

he has been to Mitre 10 and the petrol station as he is still working for the census.
But do you truly believe there is only this one case in the whole region?

Yes. Idiots be spread evenly across our great land.

Its busy on the Dubbo pings, but it seems to be a few that keep coming up regularly. Tobacanists and fast food seem to be regular, which may say something about the cohort that are spreading the love. So far, only one of my regular food places has been a contact site. There are about 6 supermarkets in town and each seems to have at least one 30 minute contact interval per day.

Dubbo LGA is at about 600 cases out of a population of about 40,000 which means 1.5% of the population has been infected. But i don't know anyone that has had it yet.
