Certainly a variable day then. I drove back from Cooma at around 4pm and the sky was nothing like that wrt cloud cover.

None at hand, but have a few images of 'ufo lens' over Jindabyne Lake, whilst fly fishing for trout, with the Crackenback Range snow capped in the distance. You know the winds are strong... when the UFOs form over the Main and Crackenback ranges...

Several nice lenticular clouds above the Dandenong Ranges on the outskirts of Melbourne a couple of weeks ago. Interestingly, it was a day in the low to mid 30s!
