Something doesn't look right in the gulf today. The last few images of the water vapour and IR have me a little spooked.

The season for cyclones has offically ended, but their seems to be lots of activity north of Queenland in the Gulf. The sea surface temperatures in that area can still support cyclone development.

Yes, I guess no one tells the cyclones the season has "officially ended". Could be a "wag in the tail" yet, but I think the high pressure ridge will keep any interesting action away.
