Radar looking good in vic this morning.
Should get a semi decent drop today, storms possible.
If it clears later and the sunshines, there is potential for some decent storms this arvo.

Macedon - Kilmore force field is effect. Plenty of rain to the west, but it's not quite making the city.

Looks to be clearing from the west now.
Not if we'll see to much more, unless the thunderstorms redevelop.

Forecast all along was hoping for some clear after the first rain band air to get the storms firing up for the arvo shift.
Clearing, moisture, humidity, its all there just need a trigger to get them going. Hopefully the sun has some kick in the clear area.

Probably the most promising system for rain since early November. All un-watered vegetation is toast in Nth Central Vic at present.

Strange weather, since May 2015. I felt all the seasons were way ahead of the calendar. Winter came early and then disappeared, spring died off early and summer came, perhaps summer will die off early and we will get some solid autumn rains.

Yeh, it feels like that troughy weather we normally get late Feb & March.
And yet, we haven't seen a cyclone in the northern states.

Some good totals in the NE of the state already this morning, with plenty more on the way.

It's cool, but humid in Melbourne this morning. Wind has died off too.

Very nice rain in Dubbo this morning. I managed to have my bin float 100m down the street this morning in the poorly drained gutter.

Just starting to tick now, trough line would be perfectly place to hit Melbourne and the bay areas hard.

Good cell hitting Seymour right now.
    They had 35mm to 9am.
Just north at Mangalore copped the full brunt, 68mm there so far.
here's hoping no more dumbarses are driving through floodwaters again up there.

Bom amended forecast for Melb up 4 deg to a top of 29. Quite unusual isn't it?

This build up of heat and humidity hopefully facilitates storms later....

Around 60mm in Dubbo so far since early this morning. Unfortunately doesn't seem to be falling in the upper catchments that feed Lake Burrendong. Very soggy at home. All that fertiliser i threw around on saturday is probably in the river now.
