EC & AXS have all both consistent with the corridor Sth of Syd.
for a few days now.
This ^ GFS has now shifted it's modelling in sync.
Tho it has been favouring Sydney & to the North until today ? .
fwiw I have had some comfort and reliability last couple years ( work wise = rain) with GFS (& this particular BSCH) * closer in timescale.
if in doubt it's AXS for mine once locked into the 72hrs.

GFS has been centering south of Sydney too - apart from a couple of outlier runs last night and this morning. It's back to normal today.

Shire doesn't really flood much.
However .
Botany, Inner west, Parramatta, Kingsgrove/Hurstville areas IMO are in trouble
There was a time in feb a few years ago (okay more than a few)

Where flooding was pretty bad and a lot of people couldn't get to the CBD for work (ie buses weren't running over the ANZAC bridge) i missed it cause i was in Japan,

Looking at ARI of around 5y if those fall rates come off for the Shire = easily nudging standard street drainage ratings.
High tide at 1pm which may help things for those on Botany Bay/Georges.

History?
Back in August 1998 the Illawarra region experienced an intense storm system. It was the 17th August 1998. The city centre of Wollongong received 316mm of rain in 24 hours. Nearby Mt Keira scout camp received 445mm of rain during the same period.

I remember driving up a rivers flowing down Bulli Pass, 50kg rocks washing down. That day we left our troop carrier at home and took our mitsubishi colt  .....it forded 600mm at the bottom of the pass, feck we were stupid, and incredibly lucky!
