A small cell just popped up and looks likely to (briefly) interrupt the cricket. SW Gippsland looks to be where the real action is happening. Surely some hail in there?

Those cells in Gippsland could be doing some serious damage.
Just waiting patiently here in Elwood for something to develop and pass over us.

Looks like the kind of map and setup that will be to the east of the outer south-eastern suburbs again. Places like the Goon might get a hit but even my area will be too far west. But it might give me a good show on the deck again.

Pretty tame here in Carnegie too. Lots of thunder and lightning but rain was moderate at best.

Sat on the roof at Southland during my lunch break (timed that very well ;)).
Impressive looking but didnt really deliver that much where I was. Some nice thunder and CG's but zero hail, no real wind gusts and not really heavy rain. A tad dissapointed I was.
Radar definitely looked more serious than it was, just for my area that is as reports from others are saying some serious events.

Like visiting a Grey Street streetwalker eh CC? ;)

The big cell passed over my parents' joint in Seymour. Looks nastier on the radar than what transpired, I'm told. 6mm from it

I meant St Kilda rd. Mind you our old office was on Fitzroy st - I could tell you some stories. Like the time our receptionist was propositioned to work at a different "establishment". But I digress. ;)

I know it's St Kilda Road CC! I used to work opposite Grey Street

Thunder and rain have hit here in the outer East...although, like others are suggesting, nowhere near as intense as the radar suggested

13.5 in the gauge in Seymour, but just out the road the BOM official gauge at Whiteheads Creek says 36mm (must only be a few k's from my folks' place). I dare say the Alps are about to cop a caning
