Got my refund then both of our cars were due for rego/greenslips
Have to say, having the Cruiser Live cam being back is a very welcome distraction on a Friday where I'm too over the week to get much work done
I was thinking that's a very big queue, but on closer inspection everyone seems to be SD pretty well, which is spreading it further than usual..
We just received $3,200 refund overcharged plus The balance of the 365 passes. Three emails, at least two phone calls not returned. Got through yesterday. No problem,
They are totally swamped.
Well if that came off it would be mighty fine for Thredbo given the magic 1300m line
Yep queues looked long sometimes when I was there last weekend, but I never waited more than 10 minutes. The staff enforce the single file Social distancing rule so it stretches out the queues.
Schuss looks ready to go!
After sending no less than 6 emails to Thredbo, all of which went unanswered, Thredbo called this morning to offer tickets for the 11th, 12th and 13th of July (This weekend!). These were the dates we couldn't get tickets for at Thredbo in the original or second release so gladly took them up!
If you have been emailing them, keep trying - you may get lucky!!
You haven't had a ride yet?
when he does I imagine we will see a super moon rising over Thredbo
High Noon and Friday Flat Cams now live too. Last week Basin Cam disappeared from website so not sure what the go is with that.
yeah it was down for a few days. Still available here though https://www.ski.com.au/snowcams/australia/nsw/thredbo/thredbo-basin.html
Been so long since I've seen the twinkling village!
Mine too refunded this week after 3 emails.
Here's hoping NSW ski season stays open long enough for us to all to get a few days there.
You may get a ticket at the window at 8:00am, better than 70/30 chance.
Thredbo is working like a well wiped and sanitized machine.
Merrits skiing nice, High Noon nice to okay at the bottom.
Laps of Merrits then High Noon to load at Gondola mid back to Merrits makes for a decent morning out.
Snow dance for Super Trail and next week it could be on. So close that only a warm night spoiled the opening.
Stay safe people, 1.5m and lots of hand sanitizer.
Just got my refunds through. Took about 10 days from the first email. The second email included some additional dates which were also refunded. Not a bad effort staying on top of all the moving pieces given the situation.
Day 4 with my mini shred.
It’s groundhog day, but yes laps of High Noon and Merrits have been fun! Thinking about it now with these conditions the Gondola really is an asset to this side of the hill.
Now bring on that snow!
Not yet. Maybe this evening if the weather settles in.
Something to crow about.
Look at all the coaches!
Snowing to the village on the cams!! I am soooo so happy for everyone who is there today, especially my friend who is seeing my beloved Thredbo for the first time.
Please share any more pics you have, people on the ground!
picked you up one of these, so you can arrive in the appropriate Thredbo style.....
Poor friends are going to be wet this afternoon. Still better than being at home working i guess.
Uh oh, not a stemless!! @Lady Penelope will not be pleased
yes but it does allow seamless skiing and champagne consumption and let’s face it, when it’s that cold who needs a stem.
im actually planning an annual ski.com race, challenge is to ski highnoon with a glass of Champers, winner is the fastest down but you loose points for spillage.
Ooh I’m in! No poles for a handicap
So snowy. Wish I could like it twice!
The Gondola is awesome
I’ll graciously say ... thanks for the thought, @zac150 <but @Interruptedbyfireworks is correct >
Count me in too. Just no turns, I guess ....
Pretty busy and no snow, stay away...
mental note, when I don’t want to share the wine with you lot I’ll pull out a stemless glass.....
Well, for a good wine I could make an exception! In the meantime, eagerly anticipating some good falls at Thredbo and hoping for decent coverage by the time I arrive with my lot next Sunday.
Snowing in the village atm
AMAZING! Love the hood on your little shredder too, I have a similar one in hot pink but that one would match my ski outfits way better
Anyone on the ground able to provide more of an update ? Looking at the Friday flat cams from this morning to now, it looks like some of the grass has filled in.
Is there a reason why Thredbo aren't showing this on their site?
That has to be MY EVENT!
What an outstanding idea!
Can you wait until mid-September?
Mates pic, sent thru and hour or so ago
This was this morning so that's a nice fill in.
Yes happy to help, the update is that it snowed today.
absolutely, I was looking up toward the trees and under the chair, and it does look nicely filled in.
I prefer @LMB response...
