    Hi!

Just wondering what activites for toddlers (my girl is 2 years old and too young for Milo Kids) Thredbo offers?

We are staying at House of Ullr, arrive early September for 6 days.

My husband and I will have 3 full days of skiing (him, probably 4 days) and Emily will be going to the creche for 3 full days.

Just wondering what activities I can do with her on the remaining 2 days (other than toboggoning, snowmen etc etc).

    Thanks in advance!!
    Rebecca

You can go up to Dead Horse Gap and do some toboganning up there. There is the pool area as well.

Last year childcare was in the pool building. Turn right just inside the front door. We had our two year old with us last year and she went to child care most of the days. Some days we would take her for walks around the village. Or just hang out in the lodge if the weather was bad. Chocolate croissants sitting in the sun at base of kossie chair were a hit.

Trips with young kids aren't really about skiing hard, more about relaxing.

You CAN toboggan but only in the small area to the right (North side) of Friday Flat, (which often doesnt even have snow on it). The indoor (heated) pool is great with small kids, we spent plenty of rainy non-ski days in there but a 2 year old is probably a bit small to take advantage of the waterslide. The ducks are friendly along the river, I'm sure 2yo will love them, you can occasinally spot wombats too. The Alpine Hotel has a great common area with comfy lounges and big fireplace etc and a few games etc for the kids, that's always a nice place to hang out. House of Ullr doesnt really have a kid friendly 'common' room.

Just a tip -if staying at the House of Ullr with kids, make sure you request a room at the back of the lodge (away from the front bar), the live music most nights will keep everyone awake (we learnt this the hard way). HAve fun!

Not anymore. That is now the first timer lesson area and has snowmaking and a magic carpet. No tobogganing allowed there now.

You can visit the duck house on the lake, make snow angels, make snowmen, walk on the snow, throw a snowball, drink hot(ish) chocolate and play in the lodge.
