Hi Guys:

I just installed a Thule Roof cargo carrier.

Have you guys installed the Thule Box Ski Carrier Adapter for your skis?

How do you guys fix your skis in the roof cargo carrier?

Thanks Guys

I lay an old towel in the bottom, place multiple pairs of skis (usually 4 or 5 pairs) held bases together with straps on top, poles on top of that, another towel and some other random gear then close lid. Never had any damage and unless you drive like a lunatic, they are not going anywhere.....

A trip to Clark Rubber should result in a similar outcome for a quarter of the cost.

some high density foam cut to size would do that job.

I don’t do anything to tie them down. On the way to or from the resort the carrier is jam packed.

Never thought about it that much. Place them in and wiggle everything until I can lock the lid. Never noticed any damage to ski, boards or box. Equally Im not overly precious about it either. A few dinks are signs they get used.
