    Hi,

Just doing some planning for the June school holiday period (29th June to 3rd July), this will be our second time to Perisher, first during peak period.

Can someone advise how much roughly was the ticket price for a 3 day and a 4 day lift pass for adult and student?

And how chaotic the parking would be up at Smiggins and Perisher?

    Thanks

The following website has last year’s pricing in pdf to give you a guide, this years pricing not up on their official website yet.

At Perisher at a similar time last year though parked at Bullocks Flat, so no idea how chaotic parking was. The following week I would imagine would be a zoo when pretty much all states are on School Holidays.

Parking is tricky much of the season now, but I can't recall it being any worse on School holidays if you get there early. getting kids out of bed in the dark and into the car is a disipline, but if you are early enough you can enjoy brekky in the carpark or at the terminal, get a good car park so the kids don;t have to walk so far (important later in the day) and you don't get quite so many idiots on the road. Vail Resort are pricing tickets to get you to trade-up from 3/4 days to a season pass, so have a look at prices, consider an extra day or two and you might be better off with the season passes. Either way, it's not cheap, nor is accommodation (generally) but given the fun you will have, it's all worth it. Let's hope there's plenty of snow!!!!

Feel from memory, they do give you discounts for booking ahead, but pricing structure is very much geared towards driving season pass sales.

The Station. I think Sport n Rec does rooms too.

For groups, low cost in or near Jindy, The Station is going to be a pretty good option.

Otherwise there are a few good self contained options for a group of 11 in Jindy here:

I've been checking the Perisher website to see when their shop goes live for the purchase of daily passes, kids lessons etc. The website says that purchases will be available from mid-March, but there's nothing there! Seriously, what's going on at Perisher head office! (/s)

March has 31 days - the online shop should have gone live at midday on the 15th! :D

Perhaps that extra day in February threw them off.

Main reason I decided not to post this as a whole new thread.

If the season goes ahead, I sure as hell can't see it opening on the June long weekend. Not a chance imho. Maybe a month later. Maybe.

As for prices, I wouldn't hold my breath.

    There's been an update!

The Perisher site now says that ticket sales online will go live at the start of April.

I can't imagine why anyone would buy one yet, with so much uncertainty around.

100% agreed, but I still want to know what I will be up for if the season *does* go ahead.
