Just back from SIC & we spent 4 days at Trackers Lodge.

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough.

Great little 16 room lodge, clean, basic accom rooms with nice en-suites, great common area, good bar, games room for kids, etc, etc.

What sets this place apart is the staff & the FOOD !!!

The staff make you feel like you're visiting your best friends & they bend over backwards to make you feel so at home.

They have 7 course degustation dinners 5 nights a week with the other two nights being a 4 course farmhouse style hearty dinner.

Fully cooked breakfasts made to order every morning.

Easy ski down to Eagle or Summit chairs & access from the hill via the village run & the aqueduct to come home.

Huge [IMG] for these guys from both us & the Qwills who were there at the same time.

    [IMG] Those stairs [IMG]

I ended up braving the icy "wall of death" next to them in preference to climbing up and down and up and down.

For memory Brian was our manager 2 years ago, and looking back one of the best we've had.

Yep,..... Just a grumpy journalist that seemed to be pissed off at the entire world.

Even before I upset his applecart, he was just moping around the lodge, didn't interact with anyone, permanent scowl on his face. Just a sad sack all round really.

    His loss.
