Travel day and duration.

Ski bums only for this particular one. Not talking families. Just gauging if there is a particular start finish day and duration that crew would prefer. Let me know in the comments your preferred day to fly out.
Obviously everyone would like to choose 21 but please let me know the pracitcal number of days you would take off..

but having observed many groups coming to Japan to come visit/etc, they almost always choose 10 or 12 days.

Im planning a month with the family and then 8-10 days BC trip with the boys late Feb. I would say the average duration Australians travel Japan for see them home within 14 days. 12 days on snow with the majority bi passing tourism given they have likely travelled there before.

Our normal family trips is usually 2 and a bit weeks (16-18 days). Generally 8-12 snow days, balanced with touristy and travel days on either side.

We like travelling/transferring Sat/Sun as it is usually the busiest on mountain during the weekend.

If restricted to 21 days, then that's the way to do it, with the Sat / Sun transfer as recommended by others. No need for non snow sightseeing, unless it's to and from the bar / restaurant.

I go to Japan for more than the skiing. The skiings just the icing on the cake. There’s so. much more if you open your eyes .
