Local young film maker and friends' most recent installment. Anything lacking in skills, made up for by courage!:

Loved it! Great to see young skiers getting stoked on skiing whatever they can find. Inspirational stuff!

    That was awesome

So many memories, the stairs from town towards townsite, the ice rink, I even thought I saw the town funny man Lincoln in the last few frames. Thanks for posting.

Lincoln is a legend! Quite the Kimberley character to say the least, still walks up and down from Townsite pretty much every day, how I don't know - many able bodied folks around here can't do that.

Lincoln is a legend. He kept me company in calgary airport for a couple of hours waiting for the plane to cranbrook late at night.

The next day the first person I see in town is Lincoln [IMG]

Lots of other legends too, the old taxi driver...the list goes on. Such a cool, real town is Kimberley.

Yes indeed yesterday looked the goods, I saw some pics on facebook from a friend staying there at the moment, looks like a good season for the Kootenays.

I can't wait to get back Old Hack. I plan to bring my son there to learn to ski - its a great place to bring up kids.

Be sure to drop into these forums every now and again and keep us up to date. I love hearing about Kimberley.

Definitely a great hill for the kids to learn on, or anyone for that matter. Lots of goods for those who aren't learning either! My 8 yr old does lessons every Saturday through with the ski school, and will be out skiing me before too much longer.

What a week! Keep forgetting how big March can be. A little wet downtown, but not on the hill. Still snowing today and more expected through the weekend. Life is good, if you love winter that is....
