It certainly has been windy in the hills again. Also got a heap of firewood processed and put away, ready for next year.
Rain just started.
Looking at the radar, the rain seems to be disappearing over the city as it comes in from the west, and reappearing on the eastern side as if the city is a mountain!?

Stuff will get real once that line near Geelong hits in an hour or 3. I reckon it will be wild on the change looking at that.

First of the rain is approaching the city. The Mt Macedon force field is dealing with most of it for now.

Reasonable rain in GI.moderately heavy.Will be a fun commute on wet roads .Yes...looking/feeling wintery.
Essential activity will involve keeping dry and warm.

Heaven forbid they close our Health Care Tea room on such a day.....but bears do like sitting in truck watching the raindrops and following the ABC news regardless.

Fair amount of damage around Chapel Street in Melbounre (older buildings). Can only imagine what it felt/looks like in Mansfield and Buller and surrounds. Good chance there's bad damage there to some taller/older buildings
