Beautiful! I had to go see a client in Kilsyth, so on the way back took the slightly less direct route over Mt Dandenong.. Still looks like a wreaking ball has gone through a few areas after the June storms!Beautiful day.
Walked the puffing billy line in Gembrook after lunch.
Clouds were just starting to bank up.
I was just about to post same. U can smell it coming! Humidity really picking up by the feel of it, bring it on!Can almost smell the rain & storms to come outside with the warmth and humidity, a truly cracking Spring day!
Hoping to get out for some exercise before the sun goes down later if my work schedule permits!
As per the model downgrades, only the odd spot of rain for the ride, hardly enough to wet the roads.
Looks to me we'll only now get dribs and drabs. Perhaps 5mm a day through Friday.
My ants have a different opinion than yours do.. lots of ant hills suddenly appeared out the front. Mine are obviously doomsday ants.. They are all vaxed though.. so should be right..I did wonder. The ants here normally know better than I do if we're in for heavy rain.
They have not built up their entrances this week.
Hope we get a few rumbles, not too sad if we miss most of the rain.
Or maybe my ants have just given up. Mine are probably anti vaxxers lol, plenty of those around here.My ants have a different opinion than yours do.. lots of ant hills suddenly appeared out the front. Mine are obviously doomsday ants.. They are all vaxed though.. so should be right..
I'm surprised they still went with 5-15mm today after yesterday's model downgrades.BOM seem to have got it wrong. It is humid and mild and there is no need to man the life rafts. The deluge of rain has not appeared here in NE Melb. , yet.
9.9mm here. Storms later this afternoon look like a possibility.Looks like we were in the wettest spot, my obs of about 8mm consistent with the map. Not holding out much hope ATM, looks like it will slide south then wrap around. Might get a storm later if we lucky based on BOM best guess.
