Getting big 40+ kmh gusts again in the last hr. 46kmh highest so far, but has really stepped it up in terms of consistency sinse 11:30am. Radar improving, but with this wind, hard to see it not getting torn to shreds on Macedon before getting here.. Anyway, tomorrow is the main course. BOM holding firm with 5 - 10mm for city, meaning 20 - 30mm for here, and some serious cold air coming through early Monday which should result in regular coldies off the bay. I'll take it! Only realy choice left is what roast meat to do tomorrow?? Thinking maybe a slow cooked curry..

Was surprised to have a mostly dry drive home from Jindy yesterday.
Few spots of rain around Moe early arvo.
Wasn't windy at all until Pakenham where it hit hard. Didn't worry me driving the patrol much but hubby could feel it heaps driving the coaster.
I had our youngest son as my copilot and he took some great cloud photos!
Here's a couple of my favourites.

Team Bears were on the Mt Juliet track..there was thunder rumbling in the distance....very fortunately that storm never came my way.......as after a little work I pushed to the top through numerous fallen trees and limbs.......wind was howling on top around 4pm...then a chaotic skid/fall plod hanging on to trees and saplings. Not pleasant descending....landing on my asse and once fair on my back..But that storm never tracked over the top.

Radar looks promising, but nothing on the ground. A very light drizzle in places on the way to work, brisk westerlies, overcast. This system has been a bit of a dud for Melbourne, only really delivering the wind and not much else.
Cold and dry for the whole week, no rain in sight.

Nippy, but not quite as cold as expected. Hovering around 2C at home, very pleasant to ride to work.
Tomorrow morning looking a little colder.

Rinse and repeat tomorrow.
Friday will be cold but with a bit of cloud.
Discrepancies in the models for Saturday, with EC showing a little rain, while GFS has nothing of it.
