The BOM is warning that drainage systems may be flooded, after most areas of the Perth metropolitan area recorded between 100 and 150mm of rain in the first 10 days of July ? close to a month of average rainfall.

Road under water again. Still a good 4-5 inches before it's as deep as last time, but this front looks to be done going by the radar. Was just out driving and it was *very* heavy. Lots of "puddle surfing" opportunities.
I lived in Perth from end of 04 to late 11 and only remember one month May 2005 when it was a 200mm month. I remember a lot of years of failed winters.
