Depends if you bought them here or over there. I doubt you'd be able to use them legally because of customs rules and comms authority regulations.

The folks at customs might give you some grief if they find them also.

We bought 4 for the family in Tokyo for use in Japan.
We have used them daily while in Japan, and in some cases they have been worth their weight in gold.

However we have never bothered in Australia.
Probably because we use our mobile phones if we need to contact one another.
But there is also less opportunity to get separated or lost
laugh.gif


Having just had a quick read through the legalities it seems that Japanese bands are unique in the world, as are NZ.
So using them in Aus is not appropriate.
