G'day.. I thought this might be a good idea.
Mr an mrs Mannyk celebrated our 33 wedding anniversary today.
Japan/snow skiing has been a good chapter in our lives, been back skiing for our 5th year this trip. No kids at home helps..
Ski.com and you guys have been a great help, slowly getting my sht together in Japan..
    Rant over..

    Congratulations.

    Our 29th last weekend.

Like the Mannyks Japan/Skiing/the last decade while I’ve been here at ski.com has also been kind to us.

The mutual passion has helped us seemlessly make the transition from super busy parents working together to raise kids and pay off the mortgage to impending empty nesters who love each other’s company. A lot of our friends without that common interest have looked up from the settling chaos of child rearing and realised they have nothing in common and no reason to stay together. Sad.

Congrats to both @mannyk and @LMB!

Mrs Sly and I ticked over 25 years back in October. Our celebration trip was five days in Baja looking at the emerging wine region there. We are blessed to have healthy kids and grandkids who live nearby. Bank statements clearly show we aren't rich, but we have real wealth in the friends and family that greatly enrich our lives.

In a sense its good that they held it together for the kids, nut yes agree entirely that its a sad thing.

we'll be celebarting 35 years later this year, and everything is about planning our futire together (even if we still have 3 of our little buggers at home LOL)

Heh heh, I got time off for good behaviour. Kids were 7 and 12 when we married. I'm getting the toddler/preschooler phase now.
