Maybe the pool wasn't built for traditionally what most people in Australia would use it for.
All that gym equipment, with a sauna and a pool(preferably very cold) sounds like a wish list for something at the very top of their game in an athletic sport and looking to stay there, whilst possibly trying to manage injuries or build muscle/lose fat or both.
