I have never used my Bring a mate 'Mates Rate' tickets. This season I have some family that want to come down and are booking well in advance. I logged into the dashboard to use the Epic pass benefits but there is no link for the 'Mates Rates' tickets.
Does anyone know when this is usually available?

I have been checking too. From memory same deal last year, seems to be closer to opening day, but who knows when. Bit of a PITA when you want to start doing some early booking. I have friends coming in aug whom I would like to pass some on to. With 6 epic passes in the family we have a few to pass on.

Is it possible to give someone three consecutive days at 'bring a mate' prices?

The Perisher site makes it look as though I need to send three separate 'invitation' emails.

My friend has priced up a three day pass at $400 + 100 of ski tube.

Looks like three tickets at my 'bring a mate' price will be $363, but will the ski tube add on still be $100 when she does the checkout process?

I believe this is the case.

Could be wrong, ring Perisher on the telephone and talk to someone, they are normally pretty good if stuck inside a system.

Last night i got 2 days mates rates for the wife to use sunday monday 18/19 August cost was $224, when i looked to add ski tube it was $85 per day so total cost = $394.
I then looked at 2 days adult for same period with ski tube add on both days total cost = $377

@OlCol This is what I feared.

@skifree guest services were closed when I called, but unsurprisingly it looks like a pretty narrow set of circumstances make this worthwhile.

Mates rates are a great deal.
    If you go early.
    If you don't want Skitube.

My experience is the savings are small, but better than a kick in the teeth.

Oh I'm not having a go at the magnitude of the discount, just that we'll be ski tubing up late next week (don't fancy the carnage on the road up in the predicted weather), and it seems that the discount is offset by having to buy individual tube passes for each day.

    Yeah it is.
Skitube should be ten bucks return...
    But that's another argument

Well I'll most probably have a few mates rates tickets to give away this season if anyone's in need. Or do I need to be on the mountain the same day?

No. You just email them a invite to purchase a discount lift pass

So i'm heading to Perisher for the first time in many years this Weekend (Sat-Mon). Excited as I've never really been with people who know the mountain well.

Whats the rough saving you get with these tickets? On the Perisher website they say 'up to 50%*', but i'm guessing that asterisk is for for Pensioners or Kids under the age of 1.

Weekend, mid season, less than a week ahead...probably cheaper to buy a 3 day pass.
