My son told me that Grimus broke down again and so they ran Boggy Creek to get everyone out. I'm not sure for how long.

Yeah they ran Boggy Creek all day because grimus was having issues.

They took till about 10-10.30 before they even opened Grimus and then it broke down for a couple of hours i think. They got it up and running again in the afternoon.

Was a bloody good day yesterday. The snow cover is exceptional for this time of year. Was a bit hard and icy in places in the morning due to the very strong winds, but the winds dropped, the sun shone and the temps rose and the snow softened up nicely during the day. Mens DH was fantastic all day. Might try and get some pics up tomorrow.

I can finally report that I skied Federation today, and it was great.

Snow quality was brilliant as it gets no sunshine at all, a few rocks here and there to keep an eye out for, but was really nice.

It's only really the main gully that has filled in, all the other lines need a bit more snow.

Did it on the weekend, was more picking your way down than anything though. Need a bit more snow to ski it fluidly.
