Hey, a friend that is coming to Falls with us is a swimmer and will struggle if she can't go for a swim for a week so just wanted to know of a lodge that has a pool that you can use ( with a fee of course). We are staying at Les Chalet - so maybe somewhere close- although it's not a big issue.I know Pretty Valley has a pool but don't know if non guests can use it .Thanks

There's a big assed lake at the bottom of panorama.

Call it a test of their commitment. [IMG]

i'm not aware of anywhere that normally allows non guests to use their pool.

i would try ringing a few places before you get to falls and see what you can negotiate. as well as pretty valley, I'd try Nelse. it's not very far from les chalets and the owner is pretty easy going.

other places that i think have pools - FC hotel and FC country club.

resort mgt are planning/hoping to build a sport complex that includes a pool. fingers crossed for the future

I stayed at Astra Lodge one summer they have an indoor pool.
Its pretty small nothing like a lap pool.
About the size of large backyard pool.

All the ones I have seen there are about 8-10m long. I haven't seen them all however. Doubt you will find anything longer than a 12m pool at best.

I would definitely ring around. Country Club has to be a chance of one of the longer pools.

Country Club definitely has the largest pool and isn't too far from Les chalets if you walk down the road.

    Yeah,.... it's not pretty.

You guys seem to be where we were at 6 years ago.

It's a slow process,.... but eventually it gels.

I skied on Sunday. There is plenty over the back. I didn't ski wombats but it certainly had >50cm cover at the bottom, and they will do everything possible to keep it going.

for intermediate and beginner skiers/boarders quantity is not the issue. we are into the spring cycle of very firm in the morning then softening during the morning, becoming slush later. sleep in a bit, have a great morning till it it gets too soft, have a boozy lunch and a relaxed afternoon. don't forget the sunscreen
