It's not, that is a piddler of a hill compared to Rugby. Pretty certain we are looking at Going Hill in the background here.

Which is called a cascade. Even the waterfall rapid on the Mitta (you remember the one where someone flipped his boat) is not a real waterfall.

Lots of brown in the water. Its not normally that angry.

Correct. Normally just a trickle but this was Dec 21 when the Snowy hit 6m. Was mighty impressive to see all the falls absolutely charging.
