Eyre Mountains?
If you can find me terrain like that in the Carrick Range, I will post up permanently in Bannockburn.Carrick range?
The Eyre mountains often have the lowest snow line in the country. Some big terrain in there, including NZ's longest water ice climbing route.I did actually have a heli day down in the Eyre range back in 1996. Mt Dick & Symmetry peaks according to my notes. Wanaka region was under cloud cover that day so we headed down that way and had some nice spring conditions, even though it was mid August.
