Sure is, sister is visiting some friends in the north of Denmark at the moment and visited some of the local WW2 history.

I gather that’s the name of the place, on the island of Oléron
keen TdF watchers will recall that there was a stage start there in recent years
there is an actual château on l’île d'Oléron, a large star-shaped fort but these are just some houses which might be former oyster farmers’ huts
Even after 30 years of reunification, there is still something special for me about going to East Germany. The differences between West and East can still be felt.
After reunification, the city center and also the cathedral (see picture) were renovated with a lot of money from the West. Erfurt is really a great city and worth a visit. I was there 2 weeks ago.
