    Hey guys,
I've got about all of January to kill in 2019, planning on heading somewhere for a month as a ski bum this northern winter.

The options I'm looking at are Niseko/Hokkaido, Western Canada, and the US (Jackson Hole, Colorado), leaning towards North America since it's apparently cheaper there compared to Japan and I might be in the region already so it would be cheaper for me to fly there (Unless Japan is hugely cheaper)

I'm 23 and will be travelling alone, advanced all-mountain skier. Ideally looking for a resort with great snow and powder, decent nightlife and atmosphere so I can meet people and enjoy myself and cheap(season pass, accommodation)

Money getting isn't really a huge issue but I'd be wanting to live in backpacker/shared accommodation to save a bit of cash.

This is my first time skiing outside of Aus/NZ so any recommendations/tips/past experiences would be awesome
