I've seen a 'new lift' called the "Charlotte's Carousel" reported on in the Snow Report Lift Status section...
Where & what is it ?
Since they replaced the beginner old rope tow with the magic carpet I've thought they should deploy it up at the top of the chair along the ridge line.
Is it the old rope tow ?

Ahhhh... That's not a bad idea. Beats having the 1st timers shuffle up the rolled out astro turf & slither/fall back down along side it !
The young-uns would find it fun as in comparison. Excellent purchase.

Is that what a carousel is?

When I was compiling the list of all Australian ski lifts , Mt Buller's Orange Lifts had a "carousel" listed as a proper lift in 1976 - 77 and I couldn't work out what the hell it was.

Now I've seen a couple of photos of a carousel, it's rather disappointing really. [IMG]
