Whiskey Creek Trail Snow Making?

    I was just having a think about the massive queues that build at Wombat chair. Would there not be an argument to put snowmaking in on Whiskey Creek trail to enable them to run federation chair as well?

    From a customer's perspective, yes. From a cost and operations perspective, no.

    There already are several snowmaking hydrants on whiskey creek, but i feel as though they would only open Federation if there was other terrain to be skied on it aswell.

    agree. If Mens Downhill / Yuredla open would then make more sense.

    Back in MEL ( with annual trips to the 604 )
    last year they used WT as access to Fed to ease the lines at Wombat without bottom of Fed being skiable. If you can't ski lower Fed, really makes no difference if MD or Yuredla are open.
