Got back a few weeks ago after an epic 17 days in Whistler. Only 3 days of sun with 2m+ of snow falling over the rest of the period. Relatively quiet and able to ski onto just about every chair except for one day, being the start of spring break. I am now officially a POW snob. I shot 124GB of footage on my Gopro over the period and have finally worked out how to edit the footage. It was pretty easy to do, but a bit daunting at first with a lot of trial and error. Anyway here is the first part of my effort, and yes, I admit to being a kook. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3ObVLiOHGI More to come.
Nice video I also like this one from Whistler http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WZ_ydzyEfI NTWS Not totally work safe
My first season I lived over there I had 3 sunny days in the first 2 months. It snowed every day aside from those. Was phenominal!
Nice work Sarge. Seems like it's forgotten how to be sunny in BC this month. Apex has had 26 days of snow out of the first 27 days of the month. Same most other places.
My trip to Whistler took 4.5 hours door-to-door including 20 minutes at the U.S.-Canadian border. More passing lanes and better road surfaces on Hwy 99 are welcome improvements and definitely make the road safer to drive.
