The Gibb River Road is slowly being sealed....takes some of the adventure out of it.....

I remember doing the Gibb River Road from east to west in Aug 1996 in an L series Subaru wagon just after the road had been graded. Got 2 punctures but was worth it. Loved Bell Gorge.

Also went into the Bungle Bungles for a few days with a dicky uni joint. Got back to Wyndham where we got it replaced. Would have taken the driveshaft off & driven home in 2 wheel drive if repair not possible.

Fark that's a hard one! Managed to stump me on an SE AU location…well done. It's definitely a more exposed station given the low max temps and relatively high min temps.

The lower seasonal range tells me to look more coastal…Barrington Tops or near about? I never thought there were stations up there. It's definitely above 1,000 m in altitude that's for sure.

None of the above. Cootamundra and Mudgee is kind of close climatically but still off geographically. It's further north.
