Here is a link to the latest in my Nth American Canyon Tour: Imlay Canyon Video- http://imageevent.com/bluecanyons/american/ic The file is fairly large (9.9mb) -but so was the canyon (16hrs). Some of the video is a bit dark, but again, so was the canyon. Zion is a pretty impressive place.. and Imlay was a damn cool canyon.. lotsa fun. I'll put together some more videos over the next few days.. then I'm off to Canada 'ay. Enjoys D.Dave
Are you going to get a chance to go to Grand Staircase/Escalante and the canyons to the north of there? Awesome places. K
Nice. Only visited Zion, for a day. Unbelievable trip in. Awesome climbs, by the look of it. Where abouts is the Imlay Canyon, on this map? http://darb.net/photos/anonymous/hidden00_zion_canyon.sized.jpg Edit: Nice link: Tom\'s guide to Imlay
It's located just to the north of your map.. We walked up the Angles Landing Trail (at 4.30 in the mornin'), then hiked overland to the "sneak'n'peak" entrance of Imlay.. we hit the Zion Narrows at about 5.30 in the arvo and were back at the Temple of Sinawana at 7.30pm waiting for the shuttle bus to take us back to the car..
Another sweet Zion Canyon. Das Boot was very similar to canyons in the Blue Mountains... A small trickle of water, lots of greenery on the walls.. and one big-ass walk out! Das file is 6mb and the video almost 3min- http://imageevent.com/bluecanyons/american/db
